Long ago, before the great Cleansing Wars, in a
time when Lords ruled from great castles on the planet Earth,
humans feared the supernatural. Since the dawn of time
stories of their existence weaved their way through the
generations. Witches were burned at the stake.
Werewolves/lycans were hunted and shot with silver bullets.
Vampires were staked. Demons were exorcised. The list of
crimes against the supernatural was endless.
As the centuries passed, humans came to believe
these stories to be myths. They relied on technology and
logic. Eventually, that technology took them into space and
humans once again were faced with their fears. Not only did
they discover aliens within the star systems, the government
discovered the existence of supernaturals living amongst them.
Earthlings perfected space travel and
immediately wanted to inhabit other planets. They spread
pollution and sickness through the galaxies, destroying many
of the alien races and leaving others slightly weakened and
severely pissed off. Back home, they again persecuted the
supernatural, driven by fear to eliminate what they didn’t
understand.
The other
planets, sick of the human infestation, launched a full-scale
attack against Earth and the great Cleansing Wars began. The
supernaturals stepped out of hiding and saved as many humans
as they could. One-out of the goodness of their heart (not all
wanted to save them). Two-because they knew in their guts that
mating with alien races may not work for all of
them…especially not the
figiutatios.
All supernaturals from Earth are part of the
figiutatio family in some manner. Shifter, vampires, sorceress
are the main blood lines. Demons, fay, and others are included
as well. They don’t all call themselves figiutatio though.
Only the ones who were leaders on Earth will do so now.
Humans spread out around a three galaxy radius
at first and were forced to blend in and hide among the
natives of whatever planet they inhibited. Over the centuries
they mated with natives, learned to live among them and even
relocated outside of the three galaxy radius. Earthlings are
still hated till this day.
After the Cleansing Wars destroyed a large
number of supernaturals and almost wiped out the figiutatios,
they lived underground (They were a sub-culture that existed
for centuries more). In that time, NONE of the full-blooded
figiutatios were able to mate and many lost hope that they
ever would.
News reached the elders of the figiutatio that
many of their kind were dying from simply giving into the
loneliness or by other means. Their numbers had already been
weakened in the Cleansing Wars. Fearing extinction, one of the
great leaders of the supernaturals and a figiutatio himself,
Simon Thorton pulled together a tight knit unit of others like
himself with the mind-set that they would not only seek out
their comrades, they would aid in finding their mates for
them. Preserving and repopulating humans and humanoids was the
ultimate goal.
Simon and his associates are now ready to
embark on a mission they’ve spent nearly two hundred years
organizing. The mission’s goal was is not only save their
species, which is still dying off at an alarming rate, but to
save the human lineage as well. They're willing to do this any
way they can even if it means mating agents with the races
responsible for the attempted eradication of humans. The fates
control the destiny of all involved and everything happens for
a reason.
