Misfit In Middle America is written in the first person and it is unique in that the reader is treated to the events as they unfold through the male perspective – through Adam. This is not only interesting but also entertaining in reaching behind the male psych … and Adam is definitely one male you’d like to get behind, or under, or on top of. He’s just so gorgeous, sexy, strong, cute, and vulnerable; there aren’t enough words to describe him. He’s charismatic and just perfect for Beth who has a few surprises in store for the reader. When Adam and Beth come together it’s explosive and endearing all at once. The characters in this book are so real and believable you’ll be able to relate to many of them, especially Adam’s son Justin.

Misfit In Middle America is another great offering from Mandy M. Roth. A well-developed quirky romance with plashes of humor makes this a very memorable story. This book is a romantic erotic suspense with paranormal elements and some instances of violence that is not intended for the faint of heart. It is, though, a very satisfying and enjoyable read, a story that will linger in your memory.

FAQ's about Misfit

Q: Is it true that Misfit is written from a male POV?

A:  Yes, I wrote Misfit from Adam, the lead hero's point of view.  It seemed appropriate and was a refreshing change.  Since I prefer to write in first person, it seemed natural to do so with Adam's story as well.  I'm really happy with the way it turned out and hope that everyone enjoys it.

Q: Did you find it difficult to write in male POV, 1st person?

A: No, oddly enough, it flew by.  Before I knew it, Adam's story was done.  I've always seemed to relate better to the male portions of my stories.  I'm not sure that I want to analyze that.  LOL!

Q: Do you have any sequels planned for Misfit in Middle America?

A:  No, at this time I don't have any plans to write another story for Misfit.  I've had quite a few people email and ask about other officers at the station and about Justin as an adult.  I'm thinking about it, but am not sure that I can pull it off. I really just wrote it to tell Adam's story.  I felt compelled to do a police chief paranormal thriller and he's who popped into my mind.  And, my mind is such a scary place that I tend to listen to it.  LOL!
