LAST CALL

Spicy/borderline Carnal

When your heart is pulled in two different directions, can you really choose only one?

When  Maxim, a local werewolf pack’s leader is forced to temporarily leave town due to the death of his father, all hell breaks loose .   His replacement, a sadistic madman bent of ridding the world of humans, decides to make his temp job a little more permanent.  Reclaiming his position as alpha male won’t come without a fight, and Maxim is prepared to do just that, until he falls for an ex-dancer turned waitress, Rayme Perkins.

Jovan Shepard isn't the kind of man that takes no for answer.  An Omnimorpheleon whose base shape is that of a vampire, he is feared by his peers and has the lycan community eating out of his hands.  Called the Dark Master by all shifters, they know better than to cross him--well, almost all of them know better.  When he finds his heart beating again, he cannot deny his feelings for the woman who made it so.  But, is he willing to take her, even with strings attached?  Can the notorious playboy settle for just one woman—especially one who cannot commit to just him?

Rayme Perkins has long since given up her dream of dancing.  A vicious attack left her leg damaged and her knee weak.  Now, she works as a waitress and does her best to get by.  When trouble comes scratching at her door, Rayme finds comfort in the arms of two very different men.  Who will win her love and what will it cost her in the end?  Can there truly be only one?

Caught in the middle of a struggle for alpha wolf, Rayme, Maxim, and Jovan are forced to work together or risk losing everything—including their lives.

Shapeshifter/Paranormal Thriller: Rating: This story contains mature situations, graphic violence, strong language, explicit sex, and a women's love for multiple men.  It is not intended for the faint of heart.

FAQ's about LAST CALL

Q:  Why did you decide to call it LAST CALL?

A:  The heroine in the book, Rayme Perkins is a waitress at bar.  The idea came from that.  It seemed to fit well since she's feeling a bit like her chance at finding Mr. Right is running down fast too!

Q:  How many books are in the LAST CALL?

A:  Currently there are only two books planned in it, but that may change. Book II is currently on hold--no date has been set for its release.

Q:  What exactly is an Omnimorpheleon, and how did you come up with it?

A:  OMNIMORPHELEON

Origin: from the scary depths of Mandy Roth's mind. She (okay, I) was sick of using creatures everyone had already heard of so I mixed the words omni+morph +Chameleon.

Meaning:  a demon that can change shape at will, Omnimorpheleon are closely related to weres and vampires.  They are a blending of the two—a super race of supernaturals if you will.  That is why they are often called the guardians or masters.  They say that the powers that be created them to keep the supernatural population in check.
They are feared by weres and even by vampires.

Unlike normal weres, they am not controlled by the moon.  While most weres can shift at will, they are forced to shift during full moons.  They are not.  They're not limited to one shape either.  They can be an animal, another person.  It matters not what they chose, only that they have touched it at least once before."

Each Omnimorpheleon has a strong trait.  Jovan's, from LAST CALL, is that of a vampire.  His normal form is  a vampire.  He cannot go into the sunlight and  requires blood to survive.  In his other forms he can withstand direct light, but it takes a great deal of his energy to sustain that shape in those conditions.

Q:  Are the other books in the series as violent as LAST CALL?

A:  Yes, some are even more so.
