When loyalties are questioned and bonds forged, the I-Ops find themselves fighting a war to guard not only their secrets but their lives as well.
5 Angels, Mandy M Roth
has created a wonderful follow up story to Immortal Ops with a plot
filled with many twists and turns. The characters are both written wonderfully
and compliment each other as well as provide readers a sense of compassion and
strength. Roi is a head strong Alpha male that has met his match in Missy. If
Missy were of the same DNA strand as Roi, she would indeed be an Alpha female.
The passion between the two is electrifying and tantalizing. Missy is driven to
protect everyone she cares for even at the cost of herself. She is truly a
fearless fighter, yet terrified at the thought of loving a man like Roi. Roi and
Missy’s display of emotions and passion rewards readers with one smile after
another in the midst of danger and intrigue.
I enjoyed this story tremendously. Although, I have read the first story in the
Immortal Ops series, this story could very well stand on its own merit.
It provided reader with a great deal of background that will instantly draw them
in, yet, would not spoil the fun of returning to read the first installment. The
chemistry that plays out between Missy and Roi was fun to watch. There is
nothing as satisfying as watching a self-proclaimed playboy try to withstand
succumbing to a woman half his size. My cheeks are still in pain from the big
smile this story provided. Immortal Ops 2: Critical Intelligence is a
perfect mix of paranormal and romance that is definitely worth reading more than
once. I only hope that there is another story in the works. There are definitely
more characters that are just waiting to have their story told. Mandy M. Roth
has given readers a beautifully written story and earned 5 Angels in the
process! --Fallen Angels Reviews--Reviewed by: Jessica

It
seems Benjamin Parker, an ex I-OP, is not out of their lives after all. His
depravity is being carried on through one Gisbert Krauss, a genetic
scientist working underground to create super-humans. Krauss experimented on
women and children as well as men. Those children were dispersed throughout
Asia when Immortal Ops came too close to exposing the covert program. Now,
years later, those children have become adults. The threat of a multitude of
Parker replicas is a real and present danger to the world. Missy is a target
and Roi will do everything within and beyond his power to keep her safe.
As always Ms. Roth has provided her fans with an erotic page-turner that leaves the reader breathless and craving more. I wondered if this second Immortal Ops novel could surpass the enjoyment of the first and was delighted to find that it did. Immortal Ops: Critical Intelligence has it all: Passion, drama, heart-stopping action, and humor to keep it all in balance. Ms. Roth has found the perfect formula to keep readers spellbound. Her books are fast becoming as addictive as chocolate. ~A Romance Review ~ Rho.

CRITICAL INTELLIGENCE
is hopping from the very beginning. I-Ops features a group of men who carry more
than just human DNA in their body. Part Lycan, Roi is alpha male at its best,
and when he discovers Missy is his mate, Roi can barely control the wolf who
wants to claim her...now! Several interesting facts are revealed that shed some
light on Roi and Missy's relationship. And boy, is it one helluva ride with
these two. Even though she's a tiny woman, Missy packs a punch that has grown
men groaning in pain. I don't want to give too much away, so let me just say
that Missy is a perfect match for Roi in every way. The story moves steadily,
and the twists and turns will keep you turning page after page, anxious to see
the outcome. Secondary characters include Missy's friends, Melanie and Peren
(see IMMORTAL OPS), plus other members of the I-Ops team. We get a glimpse of
these handsome yet deadly men and learn another piece to the intricate puzzle
that makes them who and what they are. Another interesting character that I just
have to mention is Eaden, Melanie's brother. Tall, blonde, and more than enough
man for any woman, Eaden also has a secret or two up his sleeve, and boy are
they doozies.
When you open up CRITICAL INTELLIGENCE, you'll see that Ms. Roth continues to
enthrall readers with her sexy as sin heroes and tough as nails heroines.
Danger, emotional upheaval, and spicy sex are all intricately woven into the
storyline of CRITICAL INTELLIGENCE making it an intoxicating read.~

Hearts~
For the reader, this story will be a ride into
the paranormal, with characters bigger than life, who are raunchy, gritty and
tough! This reviewer found this story exhilarating and breathtaking. It reads
like an episode out of a science fiction horror movie with some bouts of hot sex
between the hero and heroine. Not for the faint hearted, this is a bold story
with lots of action. Ms. Roth writes multi-dimensional characters that reach
out to the reader. Roi and Missy are both independent, tough-as-nails people,
who are also vulnerable in their own way. This reviewer enjoyed the ‘play’
between them, and watching these two spectacular characters discover the love
that shimmered between them. The world-building and descriptions of technical
stuff was not over done, but enough so that the reader could follow along. This
reviewer is looking forward to more stories for the Immortal Ops team and will
be first in line to snatch them up to devour them.~

Stars~
Immortal Ops: Critical Intelligence
is a fast, furious, fabulous read. Missy and Roi rub each other the wrong way
the first time they meet but each of them seem to be unwillingly attracted to
each other. Missy is so deeply undercover that she knows no one will believe
her. She wants Roi but can’t reconcile with his “Playboy Roi” attitude about
women. Roi suffers from foot-in-mouth disease and pisses Missy off as much as he
turns her on. He’s not sure who or even what she is, but that doesn’t matter to
his inner beast, who just wants to claim his mate. Their interactions are
explosive and I truly enjoyed them. As the second in the Immortal Ops series,
Critical Intelligence is a stand alone story, but you would definitely benefit
from reading the first book. There is a lot of back story which can become
confusing. I enjoyed this action-packed paranormal story of a sexy, smart and
strong woman and her struggle to find the truth about herself and her mate. I
look forward to more in this superb series.

4.5 HEARTS~
The second book in the Immortal Ops
series, this book tells the story of Missy and Roi, two extraordinary people
with very interesting talents who figure out that they belong together, but must
first figure out who's trying to get rid of the Immortal Ops team. The love
scenes are passionate with an animalistic flare. I recommend that readers read
the first book in the series to get some background information, but it is not
necessary to understand the second book. Mandy M. Roth has done a wonderful job
creating characters that readers will love and I can't wait to see what she has
in store for the next book in the Immortal Ops series. ~Angel

PARANORMAL ROMANCE http://pnr.thebestreviews.com
IMMORTAL OPS was an enjoyable, erotic, paranormal romance
which had
an intriguing premise and was, at times, gritty and intense. It was
about one of my favorite types of creatures-- werecreatures. Lukian is
surprised to finally meet his mate and is unsure how to reveal himself
to her. Paren and her friends are caught up in a situation that they
don't understand, but Paren finds strength in the end. All in all,
IMMORTAL OPS was an intense, erotic, werewolf romance, that I highly
recommend. I can't wait to read the stories of the rest of the team.
